Two technologies, one appointment
Velora treats with the Accent Prime by Alma, which combines ultrasound and radiofrequency in a single system. The ultrasound applicator delivers acoustic pressure that targets fat volume; the unipolar radiofrequency applicator heats the deeper dermis to around 42–43.5 °C, contracting existing collagen and prompting new collagen to form. Volume comes down, and the skin over it tightens rather than being left loose.
A large-area ultrasound session runs about 20 minutes; radiofrequency and smaller areas such as the jawline take a similar time. Your skin stays warm to the touch and mildly pink afterward, which settles quickly. There is no anesthesia, no incision and no recovery period — you can come in before lunch on the square and nobody will know where you have been.
Why measurements matter more than mirrors
Progress in the first month is easy to miss when you see yourself every day. Velora takes a full set of circumference measurements at your baseline visit and repeats them at each session, so your progress is a number on a chart rather than a feeling you argue with.
That record also drives the plan. If an area is responding faster than expected, the schedule adjusts. If it is not responding, you will be told that plainly instead of being sold another package.

Contouring does not cause weight loss and does not replace diet, exercise or surgery. It is also not suitable with a current or past malignancy, blood-thinning medication, uncontrolled bleeding, thrombophlebitis, undiagnosed pain, pregnancy, or a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device. Screening for these happens before anything is booked.

How soon will I start to see results from body contouring?
Most people notice changes within a few weeks. Results improve gradually as your body responds, with the fullest effect usually visible after a few months. Your timeline depends on your body, your starting point and the area treated.
Is body contouring safe, and are there side effects?
It is safe when performed by a trained provider. Most clients feel little or no discomfort. Some notice mild redness, swelling or temporary numbness in the treated area, which usually settles quickly. Serious side effects are rare. Your health history is reviewed before treatment is scheduled.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people see good results after three to six sessions spaced a few weeks apart. The exact number depends on the area and your goals. You will get a specific plan and a specific cost at your consultation, before you pay anything.
Will the results last?
Results hold as long as your weight does. The treatment reduces volume in the area treated; the surrounding tissue can still change with weight gain, which is why every contouring plan at Velora includes habit and maintenance coaching rather than ending the day the sessions do.
