Velora uses the Accent Prime by Alma, a system that combines ultrasound and radiofrequency technologies. Ultrasound is used to target localized fat, while radiofrequency delivers controlled heat to the skin to support collagen remodeling and skin tightening.
Your treatment plan is customized based on your goals, treatment area, and assessment.
The treated area may feel warm and appear mildly pink immediately afterward. These temporary effects typically settle quickly. There is no required recovery period, so you can generally return to your normal activities after treatment.
Why Measurements Matter
Changes can be difficult to notice when you see yourself every day. Velora records circumference measurements at your baseline visit and repeats them during each session, providing an objective way to track your progress over time.
Your treatment plan can be adjusted based on how your body responds. If a treatment is not producing the expected response, Carol will discuss the findings with you and review your options.

How soon might I notice results?
Some clients begin noticing changes within a few weeks, although individual results and timelines vary. Results generally develop gradually as your body responds, and your measurements are recorded at each visit so progress can be tracked objectively.
Is body contouring safe, and are there side effects?
When performed by a properly trained provider and used according to appropriate guidelines, the treatment is generally well tolerated. Some clients report mild redness, swelling, or temporary numbness in the treated area, which typically resolves quickly. Your health history is reviewed before treatment is scheduled.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies by treatment area, goals, and individual response. A personalized treatment plan will be discussed during your free consultation, along with pricing, before you commit to anything.
Will the results last?
Maintaining your results depends in large part on maintaining your weight and habits. The surrounding tissue can still change over time, which is why every contouring plan at Velora includes habit and maintenance coaching rather than ending when the sessions do.
What equipment do you use?
The Accent Prime by Alma, a non-invasive system combining ultrasound and unipolar radiofrequency. It is FDA-cleared for body contouring, circumferential reduction, cellulite reduction, and skin tightening. Carol will show you the applicators and explain which ones your plan uses.
